HOTP Outdoors - Finished in a Flash

Supplies:

• brown ink pad
• black ink pad
• fine-grade sandpaper or emery board
• foam tape
• small Zots™
• glue stick

Instructions:

1. Place the brown paper with the block border at the top. Glue the words border punch-out overlapping the bottom edge of the block border.
2. Mat a horizontal photo on green textured paper, leaving the right edge unglued. Trim the mat to 1/8" and ink the edges black. Fold 1 1/2" of brown ribbon in half and secure the loose ends behind the top left edge of the mat with a blue mini brad. Glue the photo just under the punch-out border, 1 1/2" from the left side of the page. Sand the edges of a leaf tile punch-out and foam tape it over the left edge of the photo. Sand the edges of the “nature” label punch-out and glue it even with the left edge of the photo.
3. Mat a second horizontal photo on green textured paper, trim to 1/8" and ink the edges black. Glue 1/8" below the first photo. Sand the edges of the “s'mores” and “trails” punch-outs and foam tape them over the left edge of the second photo.
4. Computer journal a vertical block on ivory textured paper, leaving 1" of blank space above the journaling. Ink the edges black, then glue the journaling down the right side of the page, aligning the top edge with the top edge of the first photo. Glue a 1/2"-wide strip of striped paper (stripes running vertically) across the top of the journaling, tucking the left end under the unglued right edge of the first photo. Trim the excess even with the right edge of the page and add a blue mini brad to the right end. Finish gluing the right edge of the photo in place. Ink the edges of a small square of ivory textured paper brown. Mat the square on green textured paper, trim to 1/16" and ink the edges black. Add a dark green tree brad and foam tape the square in the top right corner of the journaling.
5. Glue a 1/2"-wide strip of striped paper (stripes running vertically) across the bottom of the page and add a blue mini brad to each end. Foam tape the s'mores tile punch-out over the s'mores tag punch-out, then foam tape the tag over the right end of the strip. Knot brown ribbon and attach the knot above the tag with a Zot™.
6. Ink the edges of five 3/4"x1" pieces of ivory textured paper brown. Mat each on green textured paper, trim to 1/8" and ink the edges black. Add a tree brad to each, then foam tape two to the right of the s'mores tag. Foam tape one over the left end of the striped strip and foam tape a sanded leaf tile punch-out to the right. Foam tape the remaining two trees in the top left corner of the page with a sanded pinecone tile punch-out between them.
