Sakura Cray-Pas
Cray-Pas® Junior Artist® puts the power of beautiful and blendable color into young hands. It is no wonder that Cray-Pas is used in schools nationwide to teach and practice art techniques.

Invented in 1925 by Sakura Color Products Corporation, it is probably the most basic and acceptable art material in the elementary school market today. Cray-Pas oil pastels can create oilpaint effects, are easy to hold with their round shapes, will not peel, crack or flake, are easily blend-able and are safe for children. Great for drawing, lettering, scratch art, & long lasting sidewalk art. Cray- Pas are excellent on paper, cardboard and canvas.

Available in regular size stick sets of 12, 16, 25, and 50 pieces. Also in economical colorpacks for the classroom. Colorpacks come in two stick sizes - a 432 piece regular stick, and a 288 piece jumbo stick set. Both sets are in 12 color assortments. A special chubbie size stick is available for little hands to grasp in a 12 color set. Black and white regular size sticks are available individually - for scratch art and blending use.

Meets ACMI non-toxicity standards, and is AP Seal certified. Makes a great gift item or stocking stuffer.

 Cray-Pas® Expressionist® Oil Pastels series are the standard from which all other oil pastels are measured. The extra fine quality pigments, wax and oil are especially formulated for very smooth drawing, and a wide range of effects - from bold intense strokes to soft subtle shading. This series is widely accepted and recognized by high schools, hobbyist and artists worldwide. The bright vivid colors are suitable for many surfaces: paper, cardboard, canvas and wood. Our jumbo size stick is ideal for adult size hands.

The balanced 48 color range is ideal for portraits, landscapes, still lifes and abstracts. Each color is individually light-fast rated. The Cray-Pas extender is a unique oil pastel medium - this is a colorless oil pastel which aids in the further extension of any expressionist color for the infinite continuation of color hues. Expressionist series is certified by ACMI and carries the AP Seal of approval.
